BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST

The Park with almost a half of the World’s remaining Mountain Gorilla Population. Bwindi inhabits 4 different gorilla groups for trekking including Rushaga, Ruhija, Buhoma and Nkuringo. MGAHINGA GORILLA NATIONAL PARK

This is the smallest park in Uganda, located in the extreme southwest corner bordering with Congo’s Virunga and Park des Volcanoes in Rwanda. Besides inhabiting the endangered mountain Gorillas and rare Golden Monkeys, this park is also comprised of extinct volcanoes of Mt Muhavura, Gahinga and Sabinyo. READ MORE:

Virunga Volcanoes is one of the few tropical rainforests in Africa protecting the rare and endangered mountain gorillas. Virunga National Park is part of the 434 sq km that make up the the Virunga Gorilla Conservation Area that also includes Uganda, Rwanda. READ MORE:

VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
